Our client is a subsidiary company of a leading UK organisation. Due to the rapid expansion of their business, new opportunities have arisen within the management team based at their offices in Manchester. Our client is a highly successful national specialist natural stone contractor, offering a supply, manufacture and installation package to Architects, Developers, Clients and Main Contractors specialising in : -
Main Purpose
You will be preparing Estimates and Proposals for high quality projects in the £50,000 to £1.5 million range.
Experience
You will come from either a Surveying or Estimating background where you have been involved in the preparation of estimates and proposals for high quality projects in the £50,000 to £1.5m range. You will ideally have already gained valuable experience with a high level of autonomy within a specialist contractor or minor works division of a general contractor. The ideal applicant will have a good all round working knowledge of the construction industry, demonstrating proven success in negotiating and tendering new contracts. Commercial awareness, enthusiasm and commitment are all qualities the right candidate needs for the expanding company. Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK and have relevant UK experience and live within easy commuting distance of Manchester. This role will provide opportunity for further career progression and recognition.
Qualifications and Skills:
Candidates must be qualified to degree level with a minimum of 4 years experience as an Estimator with a reputable company. You should have good I.T. skills and be familiar with current software packages.
