Impression Management

Research consistently shows that first impressions are based on what we see not what we hear. No matter how hard we all try to be unbiased or uninfluenced by somebody’s appearance, studies convincingly prove that first and lasting impressions are significantly shaped by the visual image the we are presented with. Our appearance is a persuasive tool each and every one of us has at our disposal to utilise and maximise a positive image impact in every day business dealings.

In recent studies it has been proven that over 80% of business professionals agree that they form impressions on how well a colleague may or may not do their job based on their clothing and personal grooming. Everyone is judged on first impressions.

In areas such as sales and client facing / customer service environments a positive personal brand is obviously a vital ingredient for business success. Presenting the desired message adds to business success.
